1821 Line

The 1821 line of Courier Publishing is intended for pastors and laypeople in South Carolina, the Southern Baptist Convention, and beyond. While committing to South Carolina Baptists’ historical roots and alluding to the year of the convention’s founding, the “1821” line will publish biblically sound, theologically robust books related to Scripture, theology, church history, ministry, and Christian living.

Thank you for your interest in publishing your book with us.

Criteria:

We were made for the glory of God, therefore everything we do (including the books that we publish) should be to the praise of His glory (Colossians 3:17). Is your book biblically faithful and Christ-centered (instead of man-centered)? Does it display the beauty of Christ and inspire believers to love and know God more?

Every book that we publish must be in agreement with The Baptist Faith and Message

Your book should fit under or be related to at least one of these categories: theology, ecclesiology, church history, biblical studies, missiology/evangelism, Christian living, Christian devotionals, Christian biographies/autobiographies, or Christian ministry.

All books must finally be approved by the president of The Baptist Courier, our publishing manager, and the review board (Our review board comprises a variety of trusted pastors, theologians, lay members, and other like-minded publishers).

The president of Baptist Courier and publisher will select manuscripts that fit our vision and submit them to our review board. The review board will then choose the titles that will be published and notify you as soon as a decision is made.

*Courier Publishing reserves the right to deny any proposals.
